[Meanwhile, Akutagawa’s expression remain indifferent. The only thing giving away some discomfort is a side-eye glance and perhaps a light color pink flushing across her face, which she does before the feed abruptly returns to voice.

[On December 25th, Akutagawa will find a box on his porch containing candied figs, a variety arrangement of herbal teas, and a box of fresh chocolate-filled croissants from the local bakery. There is a note attached that reads thus:]
Hey. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell you this since the whole thing is supposed to be a secret, but I figure now that it's done, it doesn't really matter. My name is Eren Jaeger. An owl left me a letter that I was supposed to deliver you a gift for Christmas. Kinda weird. We don't really do this where I'm from. I hope you like it anyway.

[ Akutagawa will find several presents sitting outside his door, wrapped in black wrapping paper with purple bows. One squishy package is a big comfy black blanket, perfect for winter. The other is unwrapped; a bamboo case containing freshly made dumplings with spicy tuna filling. ]
[We’ll this boy is good at One Thing, and that’s making swords. So here his friend Akutagawa is receiving a sword- but it’s a small one! He remembered his friend saying he did not need one to fight, but small blades are versatile! Could arguably use it in the kitchen even!
So there’s a small tanto blade wrapped up in simple paper. Oh and there’sa cute little cat face carved into the sheath. Cats are nice.

I know you said you do not need a sword, but I do not know how to make other things and I wished to make you a gift because you are my friend. I tried to make you a plan but it was not very good, so I made you a small blade instead. It is good for cutting things that are not people.
It is also good at cutting people so please be careful with it. It is sharp.

I am still not fairly sure whether I truly understand this holiday tradition, since it is foreign to me.. But it is true that people give gifts to the people important to them, right? With a slow bow of the head, something shoots off his black shirt, a tendril, whipping and ready to catch the young boy Inigo and hoist him in the air. No warning or threat. Akutagawa felt the need to use Rashomon to carry this boy until he’s able to breathe properly.
And maybe carry him inside so he can close the damn door! How you like to be a rag doll for a while Inigo?]

Even though the other's intent clearly isn't bad here, Inigo still startles when he sees the other's power activate, and he looks even more surprised when he's suddenly wrapped up in it and lifted up. Even more so when he always hates the feeling of his feet not touching the air - there's something scary about it.
So Inigo's breathlessness? It's actually turning into loud, surprised wheezing now. It's not a pretty sight.

And - more thankfully for Inigo on a personal level - he is back on the ground again. Or on a couch, but considering that couch is not currently flying through the air, he'll take it for now. He definitely is letting out a relieved sigh.. does that count as a breath? At least he's actually on the couch now, so maybe Akutagawa can have some hope of Inigo actually resting..
