[Well, he wasn’t exactly trying to act like some boss. The PM here has no meaning nor purpose without a leader. Still, as a higher up, Akutagawa will maintain his duty to watch the peers, even if they expired 4 years ago.]
Fulfilling my role.
[He really has no control whether Oda takes the potion or not.]
Plenty. [But he and Akutagawa don't know each other well, and most of it, he can find from reading through the network.]
I'll continue gathering information on my own. No need to bother you. If you'd answer when I call, though, I'd appreciate that. You have a lot more experience than me when it comes to this. [Apparently, anyway.]
Of course, I extend the same courtesy. ["Courtesy," because no, neither of them are in the Port Mafia while they're here.]
[He remembers that day too - how Dazai politely informed everyone that Odasaku could (by his assessment) kill everyone in the room before the could even draw their guns. He also remembers Dazai cracking Akutagawa's head on the floor and then shooting at him.
[All at once, he feels bad for the kid. It's not his place, but he still feels it. He seems to have grown up a lot, somehow...
[Even so, he doesn't particularly want to fight anyone, especially if he doesn't have to. He's never enjoyed it.]
Let's discuss that once I actually have my ability back.
[The saddest thing about his past experience, he accepted it and carried the teaching for sometime until.. something, or someone else entered his life what it seemed like an obstacle.
He finally learned, it wasn’t the way and doubts the system. Kyouka overcame the darkness and continues to prove him wrong. Which is fine, if she is allowed to live in the light, good for her.
There’s much more this place has taught him, some even tried to make him doubt Dazai which.. was challenging. Despite what that man had done, this kid still looked up to him. Even now, some light of hope is finally showing. Very faint, but its there.
One thing is certain, Oda didn’t deny an ability. So that day… it’s as he thought. Akutagawa sighed, not exactly the answer he was hoping for, but it wasn’t an exact ‘no’. He won’t persist, for now.]

Are there any more questions?

Thank you, Odasaku. I’ll keep it in mind.
[Still..]
I was told you’re a skill user. [He still remembers that day!] When they are returned, I like to challenge you.

Very well. Until we meet again.
